Mark W. Phillips, 65, of Midwest City, Oklahoma, passed away on March 31, 2021. He was born in Oklahoma City on November 8, 1955 to George William Phillips and Wanda Daphne Gertrude Phillips (McFarland). He was the baby of the family. He looked up to his much older brother, Mike Phillips and loved his sister Frances Scowden (Phillips). He lived his entire life in Oklahoma, the majority of the time in Midwest City.
Mark and his wife Camille Phillips (Taylor) were married August 23, 1980 at Midwest Boulevard Christian Church. They lived together happily for Forty-One years and raised three wonderful daughters, Chrissy McNeill, Candace Jackson and Ashley Bryan. Chrissy gave him two granddaughters, Stephanie McNeill and Kelsey Bell. Candace added three grandchildren to the family, Kaylee Lockett, Broderick Lockett and Jack Lockett. Ashley contributed two fur-baby grand dogs, Phoebe and Gus.
Mark started his own contracting company, Red Oak Construction, in 1983.
Mark had other very special friends that were also family, Johnny and Susan Seales, Mike and Sherry Lynn, David Bell, Bill Lockett and Chris Cherry.
Mark's Funeral Service was held April 6, 2021 in The Candlewood Chapel at Ford Funeral Home Midwest City, OK
