James Lindsay "Jimmy" Hoffman, Jr., age 56, of Millsboro, DE, formerly of Newark, DE, passed away on Wednesday, March 31, 2021.

Born in Wilmington, DE, on July 22, 1964, he was the son of Sandra J. (Harkcom) Hoffman and the late James Lindsay Hoffman, Sr. Jimmy graduated from Christiana High School in 1982, where he also played football. Upon graduation, he made a career with Stuart Pharmaceuticals, and found joy as a member of their softball team. Jimmy was an avid hunter, fisherman and delighted in playing many sports. He was also a football fan, and proudly rooted for the Dallas Cowboys throughout his lifetime.

In addition to his mother, Jimmy is survived by his sisters, Lisa Hale, Amy Hoffman and Victoria Hoffman; nieces, Lindsay Bissonette (Leo), Kyrie Hoffman and Amaya Hoffman; nephews, Tyler Hale and Logan McHugh; and several cousins. Who all loved him dearly.

A visitation for family and friends will be held from 5 pm until 7 pm on Thursday, April 8, 2021, at Spicer-Mullikin Funeral Home, 121 West Park Place, Newark, DE, followed by a funeral service at 7 pm. Interment will be held at 1 pm on Friday, April 9, 2021, in All Saints Cemetery, 6001 Kirkwood Highway, Wilmington, DE. Face masks will be required for all in attendance.
