James E. Osborne (Jim) passed away peacefully at the age of 91 on February 4, 2021. James was born October 9, 1929, to R. L. and Cora Osborne. James graduated from Belzoni High School, and Mississippi State University. After graduation he served in the U.S. Air Force as a fighter pilot in Korea. He worked for a short while as a crop duster before joining Ford Motor Credit rising to Branch Manager, Houston West. James retired in 1993 and pursued his hobby of building and flying remote control airplanes. He was preceded in death by his loving spouse, Anne Spruill Osborne, his son, James Osborne Jr., twin brothers Wesley and Leslie Osborne. He is survived by his daughter Jackie Anne Osborne (Toby Smoot), Grandchildren, James Osborne III, Deah Anne Alfano (Nick Alfano), Dori Elliott (Nic Elliott), Jessica Osborne and 14 Great Grandchildren. Interment will be April 2, 2021 at the Houston Memorial Cemetery.
