Robert was the fifth child of eight. He was married to his best friend and soul mate, Beth for 39 years. His wife survives him and three wonderful children. Robert felt his greatest gift in life was to have had the opportunity to love his son Steven and daughters, Valerie and Melissa.

He was born to Paul and Jackie Paradis in Seattle, WA. The family relocated to Juneau, where his dad and mom started a family business, Paul's Plumbing and Heating. Robert started working for his dad in his high school years, graduating from JDHS in 1978. When his dad decided to retire to start his dream to open a Saint Vincent De Paul, Robert and Beth bought out the business.

Robert's favorite saying was, "On my way to help a friend". It was on the back of his work van from day one. After 30 years, the business shut down. Robert, missing his friends, decided to work with Larry's Quality Heating & Plumbing. On his first trip south for medical, his boss Mark gave him two seats to the Sunday Seahawks game. He loved it!

Robert is survived by his sisters Martha, Patty, Kathy (Rick), brothers John (Vicky), Paul (Olive), Brian (Brook), father and mother In-law, George and Nancy Michaud, and Beth's siblings, Gus (Sybil), Mike, Cindy, Patty (Dale), Tom (Sharon), Joe, Dory, and Peter (Maria), along with many other family members and friends.

Robert Loved getting out on the water. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. If he could not go out, he often parked at a turnout overlooking the water, watching boaters. He will be at rest at the Shrine of St. Therese overlooking Lynn Canal later this year.
