Larry Dee Robertson, 77, of Vancleave, MS passed away on Monday, March 29, 2021. He was born September 28, 1943 in Louisville, MS to the late Roy and Pansy Robertson.
Larry is survived by his wife of 58 years, June Robertson; two daughters, Belinda (Quint) Moran and Deanna (Hayden) Cox; brother, Darrell (Bernice) Robertson and twin brother, Harry (Jean) Robertson; along with numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
One of Larry's greatest joys in life was being a "Pawpaw" to his grandchildren, Amanda (Beau) LeBatard, Shea Lutkins (Megan Rohe), Roman Moran (Alexis Krohn) and Marleigh Moran. His first great-grandchild is due in September.
Larry was an avid outdoorsman who loved hunting, fishing, and tending to his yearly garden. He also had a love for baseball and enjoyed watching the Atlanta Braves and his grandsons, Shea and Roman, play from t-ball all the way through high school. As for Amanda and Marleigh, he attended many cheer competitions, dance recitals, and softball and volleyball games.
Visitation for Larry will be held on Friday, April 2, 2021, from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. at First Baptist Church of Vancleave, 12513 Highway 57, Vancleave, MS. Funeral service will begin at 11 a.m. Interment will immediately follow at Vancleave Cemetery.
Serving as pallbearers will be Quint Moran, Hayden Cox, Shea Lutkins, Roman Moran, Beau LeBatard, and Carson Chickvara. Honorary pallbearer will be Gordon Robertson.
