Randy Hunt, 73, of Pembroke, formerly of Fairmont, passed away March 31, 2021 at his home.
He was born August 20, 1947 in Robeson County.
Randy was employed by Nutrien Ag Solutions for 45 years and attended Charity Baptist Church. He loved his church family and loved meeting people and giving hugs.
He loved traveling and going to different places with his family. He loved to cook and invite family and friends over to eat, especially fried fish. One of his greatest joy's in life was spoiling and playing with his grandchildren.
Randy was preceded in death by a son, Randall Kent Hunt; his parents, Preather Hunt and Ester Mae Hunt; four brothers: Benny Ray Turner, Kenneth Hunt, Jerry Wayne Hunt, and Terry Lynn Hunt; and two sisters, Mary Lee Mauney and Elsie Matzke.
He is survived by his wife, Patsy Hunt of the home; three daughters: Wanda West (Troy) of Latta, SC, Sabrina Hunt of Macon, GA., and Michelle Sanderson (Allen) of Fairmont; one son, David Hunt (Rhonda) of Shannon; three brothers: James Ronnie Hunt of Pembroke, Rickie Hunt of Bladenboro, and Gregory Hunt of Fairmont; six sisters: Tricia Hunt, Edith Hunt and Vickie Jacobs all of Fairmont, Debbie Troutman of Lumberton, Lora Hunt of Pembroke and Jeanette Deese of Charlotte; three grandchildren: Ava, Randall Jr. "RJ", and Braylon Hunt; eleven other grandchildren; and thirteen great grandchildren.
The funeral services will be held at Floyd Funeral Services Chapel with Revs. Hilton Woodell and Kenneth Hunt officiating. The burial services will follow in Fairpoint Baptist Church Cemetery.
