Obituary

Beverly Linford
Ivins, Utah

Beverly Church Quinones Bryant Linford, 84, passed away peacefully, March 18, 2021, in the arms of her loving daughter, Susie Gross, in Prescott Valley, AZ. Bev was born May 12, 1936, to Champ and Afton Church of Panguitch, Utah. Bev dearly loved her brothers, Earl and Wallace Church, and sister, Leah Church Henrie Chamberlain.

Beverly graduated from Panguitch High School in 1954. She then completed Henager School of Business in Salt Lake City. Beverly was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and enjoyed her many callings.

Beverly married Manuel Quinones, Jr. As a military wife, she was able to travel and see places many only get to read about. They made many wonderful friends at their homes in Germany, Virginia, and Texas. They had four children together: Maria, Earl, Susie, and Theresa. Their grandchildren are Tyler and Brandon Hay and Gracie Smith.

Being a devoted mother, then grandmother, was the highlight of Bev's life. Bev and Manuel later divorced, after 26 years of marriage. Beverly later married Roy Bryant, a former sweetheart, with whom she spent many wonderful years with. They later divorced, though remained the dearest of friends. Beverly went on to marry Byron Linford, a childhood friend. He passed away in June, 2020.

In July, 2020, Beverly went to live with her daughter, Susie, in Prescott Valley, AZ, where she would be cared for. Bev had spent 34 days, in the hospital, recuperating from Covid and a broken hip. Bev was such an incredible inspiration with her strong willed nature. Beverly had been on dialysis for about six years and had lingering issues resulting from the Covid. Early March, she suffered a stroke. Though, in her heart, she wanted to stay with us forever, we knew Heavenly Father had other plans. After a short duration on hospice, Beverly passed away cradled by the love and comfort of her daughter and grandsons.

Beverly was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Maria; son-in-law, Christopher Gross; and brothers: Earl and Wallace Church.

To know Beverly was to love her. She will be so dearly missed by all. Loving mother, sister, grandmother, and friend… Till we meet again.

A viewing will be held Saturday, April 10, 2021, from 10:00- 11:30 a.m. in the Ivins, Utah, 3rd Ward LDS Chapel. Graveside services will follow at 3:00 p.m. in the Panguitch Utah Cemetery. Funeral Directors: Magleby Mortuary, Richfield, Salina and Manti. Online guestbook at www.maglebymortuary.com
