Mark A. Vickers, 65, of Iowa Park, passed away Wednesday, March 31, 2021.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, April 5, 2021 at the Cowboy Church of Henrietta with Pastor Brent Spray, officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Owens & Brumley Funeral Home in Wichita Falls.
Mark was born on August 31, 1955 in Okinawa to Anna Belle Wright Vickers and William Vickers. On March 19, 1984, he married the love of his life, Penny Moore. He was a member of the Cowboy Church of Henrietta. Mark worked numerous years as a horse trainer was a talented saddle maker. His greatest joy in life was his grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father, William Vickers.
He is survived by his loving wife of 37 years, Penny Vickers; his mother, Anna Vickers; his children, Sammie Bracks, Jake Vickers, and Zach Vickers; his brothers, Billy Vickers of Lubbock, and Paul Vickers and wife Teena of Washington State; his sister, Shannon Bakos of Wichita Falls; six grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends.
