Mr. Barry Joe Hardy, age 64, of Dallas, Georgia passed away on Friday, April 2, 2021 at his residence. Mr. Hardy was born on February 16, 1957 in Austell, Georgia to Mr. Marion Clarence Hardy and Mrs. Linda Dale (Sigers) Hardy. He was a 1975 graduate of Paulding County High School. He was married to Mrs. Joyce Carol (Gamel) Hardy for 44 years. He worked as a supervisor in the Engineering Department at Lockheed. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather.
He was preceded in death by his grandson, Mr. Jared Dyer.
Joe is survived by his loving wife, Mrs. Joyce Hardy; his daughter, Stacy Dyer (Dee); his son, Adam Hardy; his grandchildren, Brooke Wood and Adalynn Hardy; his great grandchildren, Landon Dyer, Caleb Wood and Nora Wood; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. M.C. (Linda) Hardy; his sisters, Mr. and Mrs. Eric (Rhonda) Cole and Mr. and Mrs. Tommy (Jill) Thompson; his mother-in-law, Ann Gamel; nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral Services for Mr. Joe Hardy will be held on Saturday, April 3, 2021 3:00 P.M. at Benson Funeral Home with Rev. Charles Dyer officiating. Interment will follow at New Hope Cemetery.
The family will be receiving friends on Saturday, April 3, 2021 from 1:00 P.M. - 3:00 P.M. at Benson Funeral Home.
