Dawn Marie Lane, age 50, passed away unexpectedly April 11, 2013 at Wheaton Franciscan-All Saints Medical Center. Dawn was born in Milwaukee, daughter of Darrel and Darlene (nee: Schnepp) Prochnow.
Dawn graduated from Union Grove High School, where she met the love of her life, Tracy Lane. They were married at St. Louis Catholic Church on May 23, 1981.
For the past seven years, Dawn has been employed with the Andis Company. She loved her time with her husband and family at their cabin up north in the outdoors hunting and fishing. She will best be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, and sister, and will be dearly missed.
Survivors include her loving husband of nearly thirty two years, Tracy;
her daughter Deborah-Lea (Robert) Swenson;
step-daughter Bobbie-Jo Estes;
her dear grandchildren: Robert Jr, Izayah, Landyn and Missalyn;
mother Mrs. Darlene (David) Athey;
siblings: Denise (Kenneth) Hazen, Deanna (David) Glish, Dean Prochnow (Melissa Pritchett);
brothers-in- law and sisters-in-law: Jeffrey (Suzanne) Lane, Debra Langlois, Lori (Joe) Marquis, Lisa (John) Walter, Shawn McCourt;
aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her father, Darrel.
A memorial service will be held at the funeral home Saturday April 20, 2013, 3:00 p.m. Relatives and friends may meet with the family at the funeral home from 1:00 until time of service at 3:00.
