Jeffrey Alan Aaron was born in Beckley, West Virginia on September 28, 1955, and died at his home in League City, Texas on June 10, 2013. During his 57 years on this earth , he enjoyed fellowship and community with hundreds of friends, colleagues, and associates he met along the way."
Preceded in death by his dad, Gene L.Aaron, and sister, Kathy Aaron York.
Jeff is survived by his molher, An n M. Aaron, Gardendale, AL ; compa nion Nan Windha m, Pinson , AL; brother, Donovan (Daun) Aaron, Gardendale,AL; sister Linda (Gordon) Mickle,Hueytown, AL; and a host of aunts,uncles, cousins,n ieces,nephews,respected mentors, and friends he met during his college years and professional career.
As a son, companion, brother, uncle and friend, Jeff fulfilled that calling in his own unique way. He was forever planning tbe next cruise,the next work assignment, and the next fishing trip. He always knew when it was report card day, and his nieces and nephews would automatically know to share their educational progress. He was an avid believer in quality education and instilled that in his family throughout his life.
Jeff graduated from Banks High School, Birmingham, AL in 1973 and began an academic journey that spanned many years. He attained numerous degrees that included a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering: University of Virgi nia (May, 1981),Master's in Business Admistration:University of Houston/Clear Lake (May, 1990), Master's of Science: University of Houston/Clear Lake (May, 1998) and a long list of other certifications and awards.
His professional career was centered in Houston, Texas as an engineer with the Dow Chemical Com1any. Followig his retirement, Jeff travelled between Texas and Alabama spending time with family and friends, fishing and cruising.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday July 13, 2013,at Gardendale Chu rch of the Nazarene,Gardendale, AL. Ald inc Funeral Chapel, Houston, Texas,was in charge of cremation services."
