The remains of Harvey Pack, who died at Waycross, Ga, were brought here Sunday on No 2. He was laid to rest in the family graveyard at Jumping Branch,. beside his father and mother. The deceased was 26 years of age. He is survived by six brothers and two sisters, Mrs B P Richmond, of Crow, W Va; J R and W A Pack, of Jumping Branch; C L Pack, of New River; Mr Thurman Pack, of Gulf; Omer Pack of Orleans; Mrs C H Stoddard of Hinton; Welmer Pack, of Raleigh. He died of tuberculosis.

Henry Pack, a young man of about 25 years of age, who went to May Cross, Ga, some time ago from Beckley for his health, died March 9th at that place. The remains arrived here on No 3 yesterday and taken charge of by the Lowe Furniture Co, undertakers, and removed to his old home community - Jumping Branch - for burial today. Deceased was a brother-in-law of Claude Stoddard, of this city, and had other relatives at Beckley and in Jumping Branch district. - Independent Herald, 13th inst
