William M. "Andy/Bill" Anderson passed away on Monday, March 11, 2019, after a courageous battle with Alzheimer's Disease and cancer. Bill was born on October 27, 1936 in Dodgeville, WI to Ole and Gertrude Anderson.

Shortly after graduating from Mineral Point High School, Bill enlisted in the U.S. Navy where he proudly served his country. After serving the Navy, Bill met Wilma, the love of his life.
Bill enjoyed spending time with his family, fishing, traveling, the Green Bay Packers (Brett Favre), and his breakfast outings with his buddies Steve, Herman, Ken, and Buzz.
His smile was contagious and if you met him as a stranger, you left as a friend.

He is survived by his wife, Wilma, his children William "Mike" Jr. (Janeen) Anderson, Wanda (Mike Geiger) Anderson, Wendy (Ken Maduscha) Anderson, Wayne (Chris) Anderson, Wynn (Mark) Dedrick, Wade (Beth) Anderson, Wanita (Brian Damon) Anderson, Wes (Melissa) Anderson, 27 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren. His sisters Judi (John) Ziehr, Joyce Speth, and Pat Hanson. And last but not least, his special friend and fishing buddy, Art Phillips.

He was preceded in death by his parents, sister Mary Alice Anderson, brother-in-laws Donald Speth, George Hanson, Jim Dax, Gerald Peterson and sister-in-law Yvonne Peterson.

A private service was held at the Richardson Stafford Funeral Home. A celebration of life will take place at The Shed Bar and Restaurant in Spring Green on Sunday, March 24 from 1:00pm – 5:00pm.

Bill was a member of the St. John's Catholic Church in Spring Green. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Badger Honor Flight or the Alzheimer Association.

A very special thanks to the wonderful caregivers at the Greenway Manor Nursing Home and the supportive staff from Agrace (orange team). The Richardson-Stafford Funeral Home is assisting the family with the arrangements.
