Chelsea Marie Barker passed away in her home on Saturday evening on March 27, 2021. Chelsea was 36 years old, born on June 11, 1984 in Lansing, MI.
Chelsea is survived by her loving daughter; mother & stepfather, Sharon and Howard; two sisters and a brother-in-law.
Chelsea was a loving mother to her daughter, her kindness was one of her greatest gifts to this world. Her gentle spirit moved those around her and touched the hearts of friends and family she loved. After graduating high school she went on to certify as a licensed aesthetician at Douglas J. Aveda Institute and was working towards an Associate Degree in human resources at LCC. She deeply loved animals and volunteered at the Humane Society and rescued several cats in her life. She was an avid fan of funny TV shows and had a laugh that was contagious and heartwarming. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, April 1, 2021 at Gorsline Runciman Funeral Home East Lansing Chapel with Pastor Haley Vay Beaman officiating. Visitation will be held from 10-11 am prior to the service. Interment will follow at Glendale Cemetery, Okemos, MI. Those that cannot attend the Service may join the livestream link on this page at the time the service begins.
