Actress. She was best known to film viewers as Cindy Lou, the girlfriend of Gary Busey's title character, in the 1978 film "The Buddy Holly Story." She made her acting debut in 1977 on the television series "Welcome Back, Kotter." She would go on to appear on such television series as "Brothers and Sisters," "Charlie's Angels," "Cagney and Lacey," and "Highway to Heaven." That same year, she made her "big screen" debut in the film "Rooster: Spurs of Death!." Besides "The Buddy Holly Story," she went on to appear in the 1978 film "Jennifer." She left acting in the early 1990s and went on to teach drama at a college near her Arkansas home.
