PAULINE'S OBITUARY

Pauline Williams, age 71, of Mahnomen, MN, died Thursday, April 1, 2021, at the Mahnomen Health Center Nursing Home.

Pauline Pederson, was born June 11, 1949, in Detroit Lakes, MN, the daughter of Norman and Francis (Gaynor) Pederson. She was raised and attended school in the Cotton Lake area, near Detroit Lakes. Following graduation, she furthered her education with a two-year degree to become a bookkeeper. Pauline was united in marriage, to Ron Williams Sr., and they were blessed with three sons. The couple made their home in the Twin Cities, where she was employed at Tonka Toy, for several years. They then moved to Washington State, for a few years, before returning to the Cities. Pauline worked for Mark Dayton, as a secretary, for a time, before moving to Aitkin, MN, where she owned a video store, for a number of years. Pauline was employed at the Grand Casino Mille Lacs, where she worked in the check cashing department and over the years, she also worked various other jobs in secretarial, bookkeeping, payroll and clerical positions. In 2006, she and her son, Ron, moved to Albuquerque, NM. In 2018, she moved to Mahnomen, to make her home at Valley View apartments and be closer to her son, Mike. Pauline only recently moved into the Mahnomen Nursing Home.

Pauline was an avid reader, with her favorite, being romance novels.

She is survived by three sons: Michael, Ada, MN, Justin, Minneapolis, MN, and Ron Jr. "Jet", Albert Lea, MN; four grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; one sister, Barbara Nolan, Audubon, MN; and one brother, James Daniels, Albert Lee, MN. She was preceded in death by her parents.

A Time of Gathering, will be held Tuesday, from 10:00 am until 12:00, with a memorial service, beginning at noon, at the Anderson Funeral Home, Mahnomen. Burial will be held at the Oak Grove Cemetery, Detroit Lakes, MN.
