Gary Terrell, age 70, of Chaplin, KY, passed away at 8:24 p.m., Wednesday, March 31, 2021 at the home of his son in Gravel Switch. He was born on June 16, 1950 in Marion County to the late William "Bill" and Nettie Drury Terrell. He was a member of the Chaplin Pentecostal Church and a lifelong farmer. Preceding him in death was a great grandson, James Cole Milburn on January 21, 2015; two sisters, Eathel Ray Terrell on March 8, 1929 and Frances Richardson on November 25, 2013 and a brother, Rudolph "Doc" Terrell on November 28, 2011.

Survivors include a son, Jamie Terrell (Jamie) of Gravel Switch; three daughters, Susan Foster (James Lyvers) of Mackville, Tina Cocanougher (Anthony) of Lebanon and Angela Terrell of Washington County; nine grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren; five great great grandchildren; a brother, Doug Terrell of Willisburg and two sisters, Billie Boblitt of Willisburg and Shelby Loveland of Lebanon.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, April 3rd at the Carey & Son Funeral Home with Rev. Winfred Hagerman and Rev. Earl Hazel, officiating. Burial will be in the High View Cemetery at Chaplin. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Christy Cocanougher, Robert Cocanougher, Laura Harley, Erica Foster, Larissa Foster, Kamry Murphy and Kelsey Murphy. Casket bearers will be Brandon Terrell, Zachary Terrell, Caleb Milburn, Ricky Barnett, Kenny Hood and Danny Richardson. Visitation will be from 4 until 8 Friday at the Carey & Son Funeral Home.
