John Darr
1950 - 2021
Oconto - John William Darr, our brother passed away unexpectedly on March 29, 2021. He was born on June 6, 1950 to Clair & Adina (Hellman) Darr in Oconto, WI. John attended Brookside Grade School and graduated from Oconto High School in 1968. He served his country in the Army during the Vietnam War.

John was a simple man with simple pleasures. He worked a variety of jobs during his lifetime. He enjoyed going out for breakfast every day, reading the newspaper to keep up on current events and taking leisurely drives on the back roads -- stopping to chat with friends and neighbors and keeping an eye on things that were happening around the area. He also enjoyed gardening and gave away most of the produce he raised to various friends.

John is survived by two sisters: Sandra (Pat) Falk, Little Suamico, and Rose O'Brien, Menasha; one niece, Kelly Falk, Kannapolis, NC; three nephews, Shaun Falk, Madison, Paul (Tonia) O'Brien, Little Chute, and Casey (Niki) O'Brien, Neenah; grandnieces & nephews, Tyler, Natalie, Carter and Isabella O'Brien; and a very special cousin, Jacki (Cal) Nelis. He was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents.

Per his wishes there will be no services held. Burial will be at the Brookside Cemetery. Online condolences may be expressed at www.gallagherfuneralhome.net.
