Eric Randall Carson, 45 took the hand of Jesus on Tuesday, March 30, 2021 to his heavenly home.
On the outside he had a tough exterior but on the inside he had a caring heart, who would be willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need.
He enjoyed cracking and playing practical jokes and you just knew something was about to down down when he displayed that mischievous grin. He loved being outdoors. Hunting, fishing, swimming, and he especially enjoyed time with family and friends on the farm.
He was a Son, Husband, Father, and friend. When Eric put his mind to something it was never halfway, it was all or nothing.
Eric made a life changing decision for himself and his family when he stepped out on a limb to become a proud business owner of Hoot's Pawn Shop. He dedicated 18 years as a member of the Hamblen County Sheriff's Department, where he served his community striving to make it a better and safer place. Eric also proudly served his country as a member of the U.S. Army.
He is loved and will be greatly missed.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents: Rev. Ramon and Mary Holaway and Olvie and Helen Carson and father-in-law: Grant Antrican.
Keeping Eric's memory alive are his wife of 13 years, Melissa. Children: son, Rowdy; daughters: Megan & Macy. Parents: Father, Harold (Ann) Carson; Mother, Jenny (Hoot) Gibson. Sister: Jodi (Eddie) Ingram. Grandchildren: Xaden Sharp, Cameron Buell, Ja'Mari & Journey Jones. Special mother-in-law: Carolyn Antrican. Brothers-in-law: Doug (Jennifer) Antrican & John Antrican.
