Juanita LaRae Saul Coffman was born on December 1, 1964, to Raymond Coffman, Sr. and Frances Saul. Juanita began her education at Santee Community School in Santee and completed her high school education at Lincoln Public Schools in Lincoln, Nebraska.
On June 23, 1983, Juanita gave birth to her pride and joy, her only son, Brian Lee Coffman. In 1996, she received her diagnosis of lupus. This diagnosis fueled her desire to pursue her career in helping people. She attended Eton Technical Institute and obtained her medical assisting degree. She was able to use her gift of caring for people at several hospitals around Washington, including Community Health Centers in Everett and Lynnwood and Contract Health in Seattle.
In 2009, Juanita moved back to Santee due to her health. She spent her last six years loving and cherishing her six grandchildren whom she loved more than life itself. When it came time, she did not want to leave.
Juanita is survived by her son, Brian Lee Coffman of Lincoln, Nebraska; father, Raymond Coffman, Sr. of Yankton, South Dakota; siblings, Peggy Norman of Santee, Debra Coffman of Springfield, South Dakota, Delray Coffman of Santee, and Crystal Coffman of Santee; aunts, Millie Swalley, Laura Carillo, and Beulah Saul all of Santee; uncles, Milton Saul and Eugene Saul of Santee; and her missing uncle, Merle Saul.
She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Katherine Saul; mother, Frances Williams; sister, Rhonda Coffman; and her brother, Raymond Coffman, Jr.
Burial will be in Holy Faith Cemetery in Lindy, Nebraska.
