Daughter of Oliver and Inez Bennett. She was a 1945 graduate of North High School, attended Ohio State University and worked for many years for Ohio Bell Telephone Company. She was a member and Past President of The Women's Association of The Columbus Symphony Orchestra and sang with The Columbus Symphony Chorus. She was also a member of the original Player's Club/Theatre. She was preceded in death by her parents; and sister, Joan Seiple (Richard). She is survived by her husband of fifty-six years, Grant W Cooke; stepdaughter, Allison (Nick) Davis; granddaughter, Heather (Kevin) Hall; grandson, Matthew (Amy) Davis; grandchildren, Braden, Logan, Kellen and Abigail; nieces, Susan (Bill) Sabo, Linda King; and nephew, David (Ginger) Seiple.
