Smokie loved junking and antiques. He could find joy looking at and searching for treasures in the most unlikely places, and was a collector of all sorts of trinkets, coins, and odds and ends. Anyone who knew Smokie could tell you he absolutely LOVED his lawnmowers.
He is preceded in death by his parents: Grover Cleveland McBride Sr. and Helen Oleta McBride; and brothers: Steven McBride, Richard McBride, and Edmond "Eddie" Charles McBride.
Smokie is survived by his sons: James Witham, Coty Witham, Joey McBride, and Anthony McBride; sister: Roberta Ivey; brothers: Grover Cleveland McBride, Jr., Jimmy McBride, David McBride, and Michael McBride; as well as numerous friends, nieces, nephews, and relatives.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, April 1st at 4PM at the Kosoma Cemetery.
