Jeff was born October 17, 1953, in Union City, son of the late Leonard "Chuck" and Imogene (Hopper) Davis. He married Cindy (Williams) Davis February 23, 1974. She survives. Jeff
retired as owner and operator of Davis Auto Body in Union City in 2012. He was employed
at the time of his death in the automobile display at Discovery Park of America. Jeff was a member of EZ Rodders Street Club, Western Sun Masonic Lodge in Troy and Second Baptist Church in Union City.
He is also survived by one daughter, Carrie Matheny (David) of Troy; one son, Ryan Davis (Kandance Wherry) of Union City; three grandchildren, Chance Matheny of Troy, Abby Davis of Jackson and Nora Davis of Union City; and two brothers, Ted Davis (Jeanette) of Obion and Jerry Davis (Ruth) of Union City.
