Funeral services for Monica Martinez, 39, of Richmond, will be held on Wednesday, April 7, 2021, at 10:00 a.m. at St. John Fisher Catholic Church, with interment following at Greenlawn Memorial Park in Rosenberg. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 6, 2021, from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., with a rosary at 6:00 p.m. at Caballero-Ryder Funeral Home in Rosenberg.
Monica graduated from Lamar Consolidated High School and then attended Sanford Brown to become a Medical Assistant. She started attending Wharton County Junior College where she was pursuing a Bachelor's of Science Degree in Nursing. Monica was employed for 8 years at the St. Hope Foundation. She was a hard working and outstanding dedicated employee. She was a wonderful mother, daughter, sister, and friend. She will be dearly missed.
She is preceded in death by her father, Abel Martinez Sr.; brother, Abel Martinez Jr.; sister, Michele Martinez; maternal grandmother, Margarita Ramirez; paternal grandparents, Sotero Martinez and Ofelia Martinez.
Monica is survived by her sons, Abel Williams and Albert Williams Jr.; mother, Maria Carmen Martinez; brother, Jeffery Martinez and wife, Marissa; niece, Sophia; and nephews, Adrian and Nicholas.
Due to Covid-19 only 50 people at a time are allowed for the visitation and masks are required.
