Funeral Service will be held on April 30, 2021 at 11:00 am at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church, 10079 8th Street, Rancho Cucamonga, CA. Graveside Service will be held on April 30, 2021 at 1:00 pm at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, 21300 Via Verde, Covina, CA.
Ruben Flores, 67, of Rancho Cucamonga, CA, passed away on March 17, 2021.
Ruben was born October 22, 1953 in Cerritos, San Luis Potosi, Mexico to Federico and Norberta Flores. He was caring, loyal, selfless, and overall defined hardworking. He worked for the Laborers Union Local 783 for over 30 years and was still very active in the union meetings. Ruben was an avid member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, where his daughters also received their religious sacraments. Ruben loved sports, especially baseball, where his favorite team was the Los Angeles Dodgers. He enjoyed taking his '51 Chevy out to car shows around the county and spending his days outdoors. He was the dad that never missed his daughters softball games or cheer competitions and the papa that loved to spoil his grandsons and watch them grow. Ruben brought a smile to any one he talked to with his contagious laugh.
Ruben is survived by his daughters Marisa and Jenna, son-in-law Mike, two grandsons Mason and Maverick, wife Alice, sister Carmen, brother Fred, and many loving relatives and friends. Ruben was a loving father, brother, grandfather, and friend to all. He will be missed so much!!
