Ruth M. (Green) (Taylor) Robin, age 90, of Laurie, passed away Monday, March 29, 2021, at the Laurie Care Center. She was born May 2, 1930, in Johnson County, Missouri, a daughter of the late Albert and Anna Marie (Bradshaw) Green.
On June 5, 1952, she was united in marriage to Carl Taylor, who preceded her in death on May 16, 1988. On May 15, 2004, at the West Lake Christian Church in Laurie, she married Gerald Robin, who preceded her in death on November 1, 2011.
Ruth retired from Town and Country Shoes in Warrensburg after many years of employment.
Following her retirement, she moved to the lake where she enjoyed boating and fishing. Ruth was outgoing and energetic and had a sweet, soothing spirit. She loved everyone and will be missed by all who loved her.
She was a member of the West Lake Christian Church in Laurie.
She is survived by her siblings, Alberta Jones and husband Clarence of Warrensburg, Missouri, Gene Green and wife Joanna of Raymore, Missouri and Lois Bowder and husband Gary of Neosho, Missouri; several nieces, nephews and many friends.
In addition to her parents and husbands, she was preceded in death by her step-mother, Goldie Green, her brothers, William Joe Green, Melvin Lee Green, Robert E. Green and Billy Dean Green and a sister, Ethel Green.
Funeral services will be held at 12:00 Noon, Friday, April 2nd, at the Kidwell-Garber Laurie/Sunrise Beach Chapel.
Graveside services and interment will follow in Garber Memorial Estates.
Arrangements are under the direction and care of the Kidwell-Garber Laurie/Sunrise Beach Chapel.
