Carolyn Cope, age 80, formerly of San Antonio, Texas, died Friday, March 26, 2021 in Kansas City, Kansas.
She was preceded in death by her father, Calvin Alfred Yoast, mother, Lula Audrey Yoast, and nephew, Michael Yoast. She is survived by her brother, Kerry Yoast, wife Georgina, and their children Jeff, David, and John Yoast. Her son, Roger Cope, grandchildren Megan and Joshua, and daughter Cristi DeSimone and son-in-law Michael, and grandchildren Sierra and Nicholas. She is also survived by numerous cousins and two great-grandchildren.
Carolyn graduated from Thomas Edison High School in 1958. She was a devoted mother and was always willing to help someone in need. She was fun-loving and always ready for an adventure. She loved to spend time with family, attend church, travel, and read.
The Service will begin at 9:00 A.M. on Saturday, April 3, 2021 at Mission Park Funeral Chapels North, 3401 Cherry Ridge Drive. Interment will follow at Mission Burial Park North, 20900 IH 10 West.
