GAIL PRENTICE SMITH, age 95, of Washington CH, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, March 29, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at Court House Manor. She was born on February 25, 1926 in Bloomingburg, Ohio to Chauncey and Cora (Maple) Reisinger. Gail had worked at the old Candy Factory and Bud Simpson 's Grocery Store on W. Elm St. She and her late husband, Paul, were founding members at the South Side Church of Christ. She enjoyed playing the piano, singing, sewing, crocheting, cooking, and being with her family.

Gail was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Paul E. Smith, whom she married on November 18, 1944; children, Rodger P. Smith, and Kenneth A. Smith; and siblings, India W. Hooks-Southworth, Adelia Mae Nichols, Janey Cleo Acord, Coyt Jonathan Reisinger, Thorbert William "Bill" Reisinger, Delsey Katherine "Garna" Dalton, Lee Wayne Reisinger, Garland Avery Reisinger, Seymour Edgar Reisinger, Eulaloh Viola Reisinger, and Georgia Albay Reisinger. Survivors include her children Shelby Bandy, and Rick Smith; grandchildren, Tisha, Tina, Lori, Christie, and Scott (Becky); several great-grandchildren; and daughter-in-law, Jeanne Smith. Also surviving are numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of dear and special friends.

The funeral service at the Summers Funeral Home, 223 W. Market St., Washington CH, OH with Danny Dodds officiating with burial at the Good Hope Cemetery.
