Betty Marie Brown Flatt, passed away on January 27, 2021. She was born on December 23, 1925 in Smith County, in the Buffalo Valley area, to the late Ridley L. Brown and Armanta Brown.

Betty worked at Fleetguard until she retired. She spent her retired Years at home enjoying her family, quilting and doll making. She was a Member of the Bloomington Springs Church Of Christ.

Betty is survived by her husband of 72 years, Oplis Blackie Flatt, Three children, Gary and wife Dean Flatt of Cookeville, Randall and wife Linda Flatt of Cookeville, Sandra Martin of Baxter and the late Velinda Flatt.

She is survived by nine grandchildren; Troy Flatt, Stephanie Chambers, Bryson Flatt, Jennifer Shah, Sarah Flatt Allen, Lindsey Henley, Jason Garland, Jeff Herd and Brandon Flatt.

She is also survived by 18 great grandchildren and 2 Great Great Grandchildren.

In addition to her parents; she was preceded in death by, one brother, Ridley Brown, sisters, Eva Jackson, Jewell Whitaker, Mamie Whitaker, Ina Mcbroom and Virgie Robinson.

Betty's famous saying was "Life Goes On".
