Chester was a graduate of Jefferson City High School. He proudly served his country in the United States Air Force. Chester was employed with the Jefferson City Police Department from 1970 until his retirement in 2005. While with the Police Department, he served as a K-9 officer, detective and accident investigator.
Chester was a member of Capital City Productions. He was a well-known photographer and enjoyed shooting many of the local events. Chester was a huge rock-n-roll fan and followed many of the local bands. He volunteered many hours for local organizations such as Angiepalooza and the Red Slipper Warrior Project.
He is survived by his son: Chad Brown of Jefferson City and numerous other family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Friends will be received from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Friday, April 2, 2021 at Houser-Millard Funeral Directors. Funeral services will follow at 3:00 p.m. with Rev. Sam Powell officiating. Interment will be held at Riverview Cemetery.
