January 5, 1966 - March 12, 2021

A memorial service for Timothy Lee Golden will be held at 1:00 p.m., on Saturday, April 3, 2021, in the Chapel of Rush Funeral Home, Pineville, with Pastor Thomas D. Sands officiating, under the direction of Rush Funeral Home, Pineville.

Tim Golden was born January 5, 1966, in Bradenton, Florida and died Friday, March 12, 2021, at 4:30 a.m. at home.

His wishes were that when his time came to die, he could die at home where he was surrounded by love, his wishes were fulfilled.

What a lot of people didn't know was that Tim was a gifted artist and much of his work touched the heart and soul of those who saw it. People who knew Tim, knew him as a prankster and jokester who always had something funny to say. He could always find the "funny" in almost most any circumstance. His jokes and funny stories will be missed along with his acts of goodness and random kindness.

Stage 4 liver failure, with complications of kidney disease, took Tim's life.

He is preceded in death by his father, Frank Golden, who resided in Pineville; his mother, Ann Gail Thompson Golden, who resided in Alexandria; and his very special nephew, Clifton "Dewrain" Golden who also resided in Alexandria.

Those left to cherish Tim's memory are his wife, Cynthia Picinich Golden, of Ball; his brother, Michael Bryan, of Pueblo, Colorado; his sister, Deborah Golden, of Homestead, Florida; his aunts, Penny Guerrea, of Brandon, Florida and Pam Schmidt, of Virginia Beach, Virginia; his daughters, Courtney Rodriguez, of Palmetto, Florida, Talen Golden, of Pollock and Brittany Sands, of Pollock; along with many loving nephews, nieces and countless friends.

A time of visitation will be held at Rush Funeral Home Pineville, on Saturday, April 3, 2021, from 11:00 a.m. until time of service.
