Willie joined Mt. Pleasant Missionary Baptist Church at a young age.
He had an undying love horseback riding, trail riding events, rodeos and more and would travel throughout the state to attend. He also enduring passion for his dogs.
Willie was preceded in death by his mother, Ollie Mae Young; and his father, Willie Young; one sister, Lena Mae Henderson; and one brother, Mitchell Louis Young.
On May 2, 2009, he married the love of his life Charlotte Boughton Young.
He leaves to cherish his memories, his wife Charlotte Young of West Monroe, nine children and one step daughter, numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; two sisters, Patricia Ann Young (B), Veronica and Elder Kerry Capers, three brothers; Elder Michael W. and Dorothy Young of West Monroe, Ira Lynn and Lynette Young of Monroe and Rev. Donald and Angela Young of Bossier City, Louisiana. A host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews relatives and friends.
