Daniel was the son of Daniel H and Corcina (Bernal) Lopez and brother of Robert, Diana and Felipe. He was the oldest child in the family.
During his youth Daniel worked in the fields picking watermelons and worked at a clothing store. Daniel and Ernestina met during their teenage years and they were married in 1967. Later they moved yo Chicago where Daniel worked as a machinist. After retiring they moved to Kingsbury, Texas.
Survived by his wife, Ernestina "Tina" Lopez and their children, Agnes, Brenda, Danny, Cassandra, 7 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.

Memorial service- April 1, 2021 @ 6 pm.
