Eulene Buford, age 89, of Briggsville, departed this life Saturday, March 27, 2021, at her daughter's home in Uniontown. She was born May 10, 1931, in Briggsville, to Ted and Lula Black Harvey.

She was a member of Briggsville Methodist Church, and a secretary there since March of 1986. She was secretary treasurer of the cemetery since 1980.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ted R. Buford; two sons, Danny and Allen Buford; and two sisters, Edith Harvey Chilen and Dail Price; and a brother, Leslie Harvey.

She is survived by a daughter, Mary Monette Hicks; two grandsons, David and his wife, Deanna Lambert and Daniel Hicks; a great-grandson, Dennis Hicks; two brothers, Fredrick and Alfred Lee Harvey; along with a host of other relatives and friends.

The funeral service will be at Briggsville Methodist Church on Wednesday with a private burial in Mt. Zion Cemetery, and under the direction of Shinn Funeral Service of Russellville.
