Charlie G. Baker was born October 29, 1952 and departed this life Sunday, March 28, 2021 reaching the age of 68 years. He was the son of the late Cecil Quince and Stella (Dishman) Baker.

He is survived by: wife, Collene Baker; three sons, Jaime Scott Baker, Jordan Matthew Baker, and Deven Gordon Baker; two daughters, Pamela Kristy (Dwight) Collins and Michelle Nicole (Roger) Hall; eleven grandchildren, Simone Danielle, Adrianna Nicole, Michael Anthony and Jeffrey Gordon Collins, Emili Machelle Grace, Kayle Scott, Haiden Wesley, Charlie Wayne, Nevaeh Hope Arlene Baker and Alexander Charles and Dillon Jack Dugger; and one great grandchild, Brentley Thomas Bell. He is also survived by: three sisters, Vela Stinson, Ernestine Baker and Elizabeth Ramirez; along with a host of family and friends who mourn his passing.

In addition to his parents, Cecil and Stella Baker, he was preceded in death by one sister, Norma Jean Fulton.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, March 31, 2021 between 5 pm – 8 pm in the chapel of the funeral home. Funeral services will be held Thursday, April 1, 2021 at 11 am at the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the Davidson Cemetery.
