Sharon was born the daughter of Cecil F. and Olive Lucille (Persell) Sheppard on January 4, 1946, in Trenton, Missouri. She was a 1963 graduate of Laredo High School. Sharon owned and operated BQ's Bar in Aurora, Colorado, for over 25 years.
Survivors include two sons, Mark Hess of Englewood, Colorado, and Gregg Hess of Crawfordville, Florida; one grandson, Steven Hess of Denver, Colorado; one brother, Eddie Sheppard of Laredo, Missouri; and one sister Frances Engleman and husband John of Laredo, Missouri; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; and sister Nancy Smalling.
Funeral services will be held at the Lindley Funeral Home, Laredo, Missouri, on Friday , April 2, 2021, at 10:00 a.m. Friends may call at the Lindley Funeral Home, Laredo, Missouri, on Thursday, April 1, 2021, from 2:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Burial will be held at Richardson Cemetery, Laredo, Missouri.
