Mr. Edward Eugene "Eddie" West, Sr., 61, died Saturday, March 27, 2021 at Atrium Health Charlotte, NC. There will be a Memorial service held at a later date in Clyde, NC. The family will receive friends from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM Tuesday, March 30, 2021 at the home of John and Pam White in Edgemoor, SC.
Mr. West was born May 21, 1959 in Buncombe County, NC and was a son of the late Jess Franklin West and Burr Athelen Surrett. He attended the schools of West Mecklenburg, Charlotte, NC, and was owner operator of West Construction Inc.
He is survived by his fiancé Lisa White Willard; one brother, Joseph Franklin West of Sebastian, FL; one sister, Lisa West Gage of Canton, NC; daughter-in-law, Angela West of McEwen, TN; step-daughters, Chelsey Willard (Tyler) of Chester, SC, Alyssa Penn Delaney (Joe) of Greenville, SC; step-son, Brian Willard of Edgemoor, SC; five grandchildren, Kayden West of White Bluff, TN, Daelyn West of McEwen, TN his "best friend" Natalie Bellue of Chester, SC and Anna & Jay Delaney of Greenville, SC; two step-grandchildren, Blake Raltson and Haylee Winters of White Bluff, TN;; one uncle Ned T. West (Linda) of Canton, NC; sister-in-law, Amanda Kee of Edgemoor, SC and Casey Clark (Justin) of Edgemoor, SC.; mother and father-in-law John and Pam White. Mr. West was preceded in death by his son Edward E. West, Jr. and his sister, Claudine West Southern.
