The funeral for Mrs. Leila M. Norris, 93, of Hamilton Grove Retirement Village, New Carlisle, who died Wednesday, March 14, at 6:40 pm at the home will be Saturday at 9:30 pm at the Haverstock Funeral Home with Dr. William Flewelling officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home from 2-9 pm today and until the time of services Saturday. Burial will be in Olive Chapel Cemetery. She was born July 28, 1890, in Highmore, S.D., to Joseph Allen and Eliza (Smith) Sharp. She was a member of the First Christian Chlurch. On Dec. 25, 1912, in LaPorte, she married John Wesley Norris who died Aug. 2, 1948. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. William (Margaret) Robertson of Mill Creek and Mrs. Kenneth (Betty) Ames of Goshen; 14 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
