Emery Waggoner, 92, of Hope, AR. passed away on Saturday, March 27, 2021. He was born on January 4,1929 in Texarkana, AR. He was a veteran of the United States Navy and Army where he served during World War II and the Korean Conflict. When he was discharged from the Army he became a sign painter for many years before joining the Reliable Insurance Co. where he was an insurance salesman for 20 plus years before he retired. He was also a member of the Mason Lodge. He loved hunting and fishing and the outdoors.

He was preceded in death by his wife Sally Waggoner; three brothers Travis Waggoner, Earnest Hensley and Warren Hensley and one sister Evelyn Harvey.

He is survived by one son and daughter-in-law Gary and Terry Waggoner of Hope, AR. One granddaughter Jackie Ratcliff and husband Aaron; one great-granddaughter Shelby Ratcliff.

Graveside funeral service will be 1:00 P.M. Tuesday, March 30, 2021 at Genoa Central Church of Christ Cemetery in Genoa, AR. with Brother Neil Ridling officiating. There will be no formal visitation.
