FOSTER, WILLIAM "BILL" McKINLEY, 81, husband of Lillian Foster, passed away Thursday, October 26, 2006.

He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II and the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He had retired from LG&E after 36 years and was a member of St. Paul's Catholic Church.

Survivors other than his wife of 59 years include his children, Bernice Fessler (David), Paul Foster (Vicki), Karen Thornsberry (James) and Karolyn Taylor (Don); four brothers, James Foster, Robert Foster, Leon Foster and Marvin Foster; a sister, Marie Durbin; 11 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. on Monday at St. Paul Catholic Church, 6901 Dixie Highway, with burial to follow in Resthaven Cemetery. Visitation will be from noon -8 p.m. on Sunday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Highway.

Memorial contributions are suggested to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
