Warren J. Crawford, an old resident of the city, died this noon at his home, 14 Montana Street aged 76 years. His death was caused by arteriosclerosis and was sudden. Mr. Crawford was born In St. Albans, Vt., but had lived In this city for many years and was a respected citizen.
He was a veteran of the Civil war, having served In the 24th Connecticut Infantry. He was a member of the Baptist church.
Beside his widow, the former Henrietta Hudson, he leaves three sons and two daughters, Fred W. and Benjamin X. of Brockton and Charles B. Crawford of Pittsfield, Mrs. W. L. Cleveland of Hartford, Conn., and Mrs. James Stevenson of this city. He also leaves a brother, William Crawford of Brockton.
