"Edward Alan Powers passed away February 26, 2021. Edward was born in Indianapolis, Indiana on March 2, 1955 to Jack Leonard Powers and Beatrice Caroll Lantry. He graduated from John Marshall High School and shortly after began working for the Department of Defense from which he retired after many years of service. During that time, he worked in South Korea for four years. He moved to Merritt Island shortly before he retired. He was a member of the NARFE National Association of Retired Federal Employees and the local chapter of the MG. He enjoyed going to plays at the Titusville Playhouse and Surfside. He is survived by his sister, Jacqueline Michener, nephew, Clayton Harris, aunt, Margaret Smith, stepdaughter, Joelie White, stepson, Roger Guinn, grand and great grandchildren all who loved him dearly."
