Sarah was born in Reading on Nov. 8, 1919, a daughter of the late Anna (Schmehl) and William T. Wilk, and was the wife of Andrew V. Jablonski of Reading.
She was predeceased by her first husband, Harry G. Dougherty, who passed away in 1957.
She worked as a nurse at St. Joseph Hospital, Reading from 1961 until her retirement in 1983. She was a life member of the Salvation Army.
Sarah is survived by her daughter, Sarann J., wife of James White, of West Grove; son, Darrin V., husband of Ruthanne Dougherty, of Reading; and sister, Betty, wife of Richard Dautrich, of Reading.
She is also survived by five grandchildren: Christine Marrs, Jamie White, Kelly Dougherty, Debbie Dough-erty, and Darrin Dougherty; nine great-grandchildren: Travis Marrs, Emily and Olivia White, Kylie and Kiara Eisenhower, Jordan, Kaeleigh and McKenna Dougherty and Taryn Bensinger; and two great-great-grandchildren: Travis Marrs Jr. and Emily Salgado.
She was predeceased by three sisters: Florence Kline, Barbara Truckermiller and Helen Truckermiller; and four brothers: Charles Wilk, Robert Wilk, Walter Wilk, Frederick Wilk.
Services are private at the convenience of the family.
