Laura Jane Bryant of Muncie, Indiana passed away at the age of 72 on Sunday, March 21, 2021 at her home. She was born on April 10, 1948 in LaFollette, Tennessee to the late Harley Jones and Elizabeth Rose Johnson.
Laura married Leonard Bryant, Sr. in Logan, West Virginia on December 30, 1965. Together, they cared for their own children and Laura's brothers and sisters. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was a member of the Church of God Trinity Assembly where she was an Executive Board Member and Ordained Minister.
Laura is survived by her son, Leonard Bryant, Jr. (Kim) of Muncie, Indiana; daughters, Anita Bryant of Tampa, Florida and Sheila Bowles of Ft. Wayne, Indiana; brother, Virgil James Jones of California; sister, Ruby Louise Montero of Muncie, Indiana; and four grandchildren.
Laura was preceded in death by her parents, Harley Jones and Elizabeth Rose Johnson; husband, Leonard Bryant, Sr.; and brother, Jesse Lee Jones.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 30, 2021 from 12:00 to 2:00 PM in Garden View Funeral Home, 10501 North State Road 3, Muncie with funeral services immediately following at 2:00 PM, also in the Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Gardens of Memory Cemetery, Muncie. Online condolences may be made by visiting www.gardenviewandgardensofmemory.com.
