Emily Griffin Link, 95, a native of Vacherie, and resident of Golden Meadow, La. passed away on Thursday October 4, 2018 with her loving family by her side.
Visitation will be on Monday October 8, 2018 at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church from 9:00 a.m. until funeral time. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. with burial to follow in the Church Cemetery.
Emily is survived by her children, Donald, Dennis, Robert, Perry, Victor and Anthony Griffin, Diana Lasseigne, Patricia LeCompte, and Robin Lefort; sister, Elda Griffin, 29 grandchildren, and 45 great-grandchildren.
Emily is preceded in death by her husband, Daniel Griffin, Sr.; parents, Victor and Lucrecia Falgoust; sons, Daniel Griffin, Jr., Cary Griffin and John Griffin; brothers, Clamsey, Lawrence, and Dolifor Falgoust; sisters, Estella Folse, Helen Anselmi and Mary Guidry; grandson, Eddie Lasseigne, and great-grandchildren, Iliana Dantin and Emily Griffin.
Emily was a parishioner of Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic, a Lector and member of the Choir as well, a member of the Ladies of the LaSallette, a member of the American Legion Aux Post 259. Emily adored her family.
