Cecil Mae Best Daniels, 87 of Pathfork, went home to be with Jesus on Wednesday, March 24, 2021 at Barbourville ARH Hospital with her loving husband of 70 years by her side. Born August 17, 1933 in Tellico Plains, Tennessee. Cecil Mae believed in the Baptist Faith and was a member of the Oakdale Baptist Church. She retired from H.J. Heinz Company in Holland, Michigan and enjoyed the rest of her years in Pathfork as a homemaker. Cecil Mae enjoyed quilting, fishing, and taking care of her flowers.
She is preceded in death by her mother, Nora; her father, Charles Best; one sister, Carolyn Kirby; and four brothers, Clifford, Clyde, Hoyt, and Leo Best.
Survivors include her husband, Herman Daniels of Pathfork, Kentucky; three sisters, Kathleen Clark of Greenfield, Massachusetts, Barbara Jean Johnson of Sweet Water, Tennessee, and Betty Barnham of Harrisville, Michigan; two brothers, Jennis and CB Best of Tellico Plains, Tennessee; two sisters-in-law, Oma Tubergan of Holland, Michigan, and Dorothy Stewart of Pathfork, Kentucky; one brother-in-law, Levi Daniels of Pathfork, Kentucky and a host of nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be at 1:00 PM on Monday, March 29, 2021 at the Black Star Pentecostal Church with Rev. David Miracle and Rev. J.C. Craig presiding. Burial will follow at the Saylor Cemetery in Pathfork with family and friends as pallbearers.
