Harry E. Shadley
Harry E. Shadley, 97, Shelbyville, died Thursday at the Heritage House Convalescent Center.
Born Oct. 30, 1900, in Manilla, he was the son of William G. and Bertha (Webster) Shadley. He married Mary A. (Thurman) Shadley in 1927, and she preceded him in death on Feb. 25, 1963.
A lifelong Shelby County resident, he was a factory worker, retiring from Arvin Industries in 1960.
Survivors include one son, Harry Shadley Jr., Shelbyville; one grandchild; and two great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one son and two brothers.
Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Boggstown Cemetery, with the Rev. Larry Scott officiating.
