William Larry Cochran, age 79, of Cartersville, Georgia passed away Sunday, March 21, 2021. He was born on December 10, 1941 in Perry, GA, son of the late Dock Joseph Cochran and the late Ida Zoella Cobb Cochran. William was owner and operator of Cochran Fence Company for many years. He enjoyed fishing, gardening, photography, cars, collecting hats, cameras and ministering to others. He loved to socialize and never met a stranger. He was a member of the Church of God of Prophecy.
In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his grandson: Joseph David Poore; sister: Betty Mae Raglan; brothers: Joseph Herman Cochran, Horace Lee Cochran, James Ardner Cochran, Ronald Felton Cochran.
He is survived by his wife of 25 years, Frances Nanette Townsend Cochran; children and their spouses: Diana and Alan Wagner, Robert "Bobby" and Tulia Cochran, Marlene and Darrell Poore, Ginger and Russell Carlyle, and Brooke Cochran; grandchildren: Breanna, Brandon, Jessee, Amber, and Joshua; great-grandchildren: Savannah, James and Ian; sister: Joyce Slater; brothers: Jerry and Malinda Cochran, Donald and Linda Cochran, Tommy and Traci Cochran, Steve and Rita Cochran. As well as hundreds and hundreds of nieces and nephews and grandnieces and grandnephews.
The family will receive friends at Hightower's Memorial Chapel on Sunday, March 28, 2021 from 12:00 PM til 2:00 PM.
A memorial service will be held in the chapel of the funeral home on Sunday, March 28, 2021 at 2:00 PM with Pastor J. A. Martin Officiating.
