Tom Oliver, 88, a resident of Irving, Texas since 1962, passed away March 14, 2021 at a local hospital. He was born October 10, 1932 in Lorena, Texas, the son of the late Obie Laurence Oliver and Lydia Schwank Oliver.

He grew up in the Lorena, Rosenthal area South of Waco. He married Wynolia Lillard September 25, 1953 at Rosenthal. He served in the United States Air Force before joining the LTV-Vought aerospace company. He worked as and engineer there for over 40 years and contributed to many governmental projects and technical achievements. He was a member of Plymouth Park United Methodist Church in Irving.

Survivors include his wife, Wynolia, daughter, Rhonda Oliver, two sons, Rod and Greg Oliver, two brothers, Jerry and Bill Oliver, a sister, Jean Williams, two grand children and three step grand children.

Graveside funeral services were held March 20, 2021 at the Cottonwood Cemetery in Falls County, Texas...Donnelly's Colonial Funeral Home.
