Sherman Fancher, 84 of Vidor died Sunday, November 5, 2017 at his residence. A native of Huntington, Texas, he was a longtime resident of Vidor. Sherman was a Baptist Minister and served his country in the U.S. Marine Corps during the Korean War.

Visitation will begin at 6:00 pm Tuesday, November 7, 2017 at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am Wednesday, November 8, 2017 at Memorial Funeral Home.

Sherman is survived by his wife of 62 years Bonnie Fancher of Vidor, TX, sons James Fancher Jr of Baker, LA and Robert Fancher of Ft. Worth, TX, sister Billie Jean Solomon of Kerrville, TX, brother Coy Fancher of Austin, TX, 4 grandsons and 8 great grandchildren.
